Shivkhori is a famous cave shrine of Hindus devoted to lord Shiva, situated in district Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir state in India. In Udhampur district, there are many shrines such as Mata Vaishno Devi, Sudhmahadev, Pingla Mata, Mahamaya Chountra Mata, Merhada Mata, Baba Dhandar, Siad Baba.
Shiv Khori is one of them located in village Ransoo of Pouni block in tehsil Reasi of the Udhampur district, which attracts lakhs of devotees in a year. Shiv Khori is situated in between the hillocks about 140 km north of Jammu, 120 km from Udhampur and 80 km from Katra. Buses and light vehicles go up to Ransoo, the base camp of pilgrimage surrounded by lush green mountains. People have to traverse about 3 km track on foot which is recently being constructed by the Shiv Khori Shrine Board, Ransoo duly headed by the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur as chairman and Sub Divisional Magistrate, Reasi as Member Secretary.
BABA JEETO
Aghar jitto- Six kms from Katra is a cool and scenic spot located amidst beautiful hillocks with a number of perennial springs lending a cool and refreshing ambience to the place.
It derives its name from the shrine of Baba Jitto, a revolutionary folk hero who is still remembered and revered for his campaign against the feudal system to ameliorate the conditions of his fellow farmers.
A huge statue of Baba Jitto, besides that of his daughter Bua Gori, dominates the place, which has been beautified by developing a landscaped garden.
NAU DEVIYAN
As per Hindu Mythology and Legend, Lord Shiva’s consort Sati burnt herself alive in the Yajna (Yagya) to avenge an insult to Lord Shiva. The distraught Shiva picked corpse and gyrated his horrified dance. Then Lord Vishnu moves his Chakra and cuts the Sati’s body into fifty one pieces to save the earth from Shiva’s wrath. All the fifty one places – where parts of Sati’s body fell, became known as Shakti Peeths.
It is the place where Sati’s eyes fell where this temple is situated. Therefore, this temple is known as Naina Devi.The word Naina is associated with Sati’s eyes.

Jwala Devi (The Flaming Goddess) is recognized as one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India, Jwalamukhi’s Devi Temple, tended by the followers of Goraknath, is set against a cliff.
The picturesque temple, built against a wooded spur, in the Indo-Sikh style, has a dome that was gilded by Mughal Emperor Akbar.
An eternally burning flame that issues from a hollow rock in the sanctum is considered the manifestation of the goddess Devi.The main attraction is the burning of 9 Flames without any fuel.
CHINTPURNI DEVI
Chintpurni is one of the most visited religious place in India. Chintpurni is located in Una, Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by the Himalaya in the north and east in the smaller Shivalik range bordering the state of punjab.
The temple is situated on one of the highest peaks of the Sola Singhi range of hills. It is about 3 km west of Bharwain which is located on the Hoshiarpur – Dharmashala road.
This road is part of the State Highway network and is normally kept in good shape throughout the year.
MATA VAISHNO DEVI
Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir is located at Trikuta Hills, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, Maa Bhagwati.
Maa Vaishno Devi, Vaishnavi and is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess.
Maa Vaishno Devi Shrin is at an altitude of 5200 feet and a distance of approximately 13.5 kilometres (8.38851 miles) from Katra. BRAJESHWARI DEVI
Maa Brajeshwari Devi, also called Vajreshvari Temple is located in the town of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India. As per Hindu Mythology, when Sati’s body was cut into different pieces, the remaining parts were in this place. Some also believe that it was Sati’s breast that fell here.
A number of pilgrims come here from various parts to worship the Goddess in the temple. Some devotees cut off their tongues as a sign of devotion to Goddess. The tongues grow quickly, and sometimes on the spot heeling. Maa is worshipped here in the form of a pindi. The offerings to Goddess are divided into three parts each for Mahalakshmi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswati.

The name TrilokPur means there is a triangle of three Shakti Temples, each depicting different faces of Goddess Maa Durga. The main temple situated at Trilok Pur is the Temple of Bhagwati Tripur Bala Sundry which depicts a beautiful childhood image of Goddess Durga.
Another “Shakti Temple” dedicated to Bhagwati Lalita Devi depicting another image of Goddess Durga, is situated on a hillock located at a distance of three K.M. in front of the main temple of Bhagwati Bala Sundri. The third famous ‘Shakti temple’ of ‘Tripur Bhairavi’ is situated at a distance of 13 K.M. north west of Bala Sundri temple.
BAGALAMUKHI DEVI
“Bagalamukhi” is named from the word “Bagala” and “mukha”, that means “bridle” and “face” respectively. The name means one whose face has the power to capture or control and also represents the hypnotic power of the Goddess.”
In Hindu Mytholody, it is believed that offering of Puja and homa to Devi Bagala Mukhi acts like a weapon to stop the enemy to do any kind of harm against the devotee. It is also believed in the legends that by offering Puja and Homa to Devi Bagalamukhi, devotee can get a relief from legal problems, adverse incidents, possibility of accidents.

BABA DHANSAR
The holy place of Baba Dhansar is located at Karua Jheel (Pond) near village Karua, 17 km from Reasi towards Katra in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir State, India.
The approach involves a walk of 200 metres from the road. It is a mythological belief that when Lord Shiva went to the Amarnathcave to tell Parvati the story of his immortality, he left his serpent king, Sheshnag at Anantnag. Shesh Nag came in the human form as Vasudev. One of the sons of Vasudev was Dhansar who was a saintly person.
